This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains your rights regarding subscription cancellations, refunds, and billing for MsgEase services. Please read this policy carefully before subscribing to any paid plan.

1. Free Trial

MsgEase offers a 7-day free trial for new users. During the trial period:

  • You have access to all features of the selected plan
  • No payment is required to start the trial
  • You can cancel at any time without being charged
  • If not cancelled, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the end of the trial

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time by:

  • Going to Settings → Billing in your dashboard
  • Clicking "Cancel Subscription"
  • Following the cancellation confirmation steps

2.2 Cancellation Timing

When you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will not be charged for the next billing cycle
  • You retain access to all paid features until the subscription end date
  • After the subscription ends, your account will be downgraded to the free plan (if available)

3. Refund Policy

3.1 General Refund Policy

MsgEase generally does not provide refunds for subscription payments already processed. However, we evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

3.2 Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund in the following circumstances:

  • Within 14 days of first payment: If you are unsatisfied with the service and have not extensively used paid features
  • Technical issues: If the service fails to function as advertised and we cannot resolve the issue
  • Duplicate charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same subscription period
  • Unauthorized charges: If your subscription was renewed without your consent after cancellation

3.3 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are typically not provided for:

  • Change of mind after extended use (more than 14 days)
  • Failure to cancel before the renewal date
  • Non-use of the service during the subscription period
  • Business circumstances (e.g., business closure, change in business model)

3.4 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  • Email billing@msgease.com with your account details
  • Explain the reason for your refund request
  • Include any relevant supporting information
  • Our team will respond within 5 business days

4. Billing Information

4.1 Subscription Plans

MsgEase offers multiple subscription tiers with different features and pricing. Current plans and pricing are displayed on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to modify pricing with at least 30 days' notice.

4.2 Billing Cycle

Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your selected plan. Billing occurs on the same date each month or year. If your subscription started on a day that doesn't exist in a particular month (e.g., 31st), billing will occur on the last day of that month.

4.3 Payment Methods

We accept various payment methods including major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment processors. Payment information is securely processed through our payment provider and is not stored on our servers.

4.4 Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  • We will attempt to charge your payment method multiple times
  • You will receive email notifications about the failed payment
  • If payment is not received within 7 days, your subscription may be suspended
  • After 30 days of non-payment, your subscription may be cancelled

5. Plan Changes and Upgrades

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time:

  • Upgrades: Take effect immediately with prorated billing
  • Downgrades: Take effect at the start of the next billing cycle
  • Proration: When upgrading, you will only be charged for the difference for the remaining billing period

6. Account Deletion

If you choose to delete your account:

  • Your subscription will be immediately cancelled
  • No refunds will be provided for the remaining subscription period
  • Your data will be deleted according to our data retention policy
  • Account deletion is irreversible

7. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue features of the Service
  • Adjust pricing for future billing periods with 30 days' notice
  • Introduce new subscription tiers or plans

If you do not agree with pricing changes, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect to avoid being charged at the new rate.

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for refunds or damages resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, or transportation difficulties.
